The Beauty of a Restless Mind
by: Rob Paquin
Silver tips on blackened wing
A crow that cries in morning
The owl heard upon the wind
The stormfront now forming
The silence of the forest tree
The slowly flowing river
The beaver seen upon it's banks
Am I a bullet or a trigger?
The sparrow hiding in the bush
The ever-frenetic squirrel
The rabbit hopping down the trail
The blank and empty symbol
A wildflower in a field
Surrounded by the crickets
A butterfly flies on by
And doesn't seek forgiveness
A doe within the glades of grass
The eagle that soars on high
The restless tidings of a mind
Acceptance inside the sigh...
~The Snowdog
