Unfortunately it's our looks that afford us the chance to be appreciated for who we are. You have to be attractive physically before anyone takes that kind of interest in your personality. It's easy to say you love inner beauty after the outer beauty reached your standards.

@Reject Beauty is subjective. Some people may find you attractive, some people may not, and then there are people who don’t care about your look at all. I get what you mean but the way you put it makes it seem like your personality is only appreciated after your physical attractiveness. That doesn’t sound right to me. Sure, your personality alone is probably not enough to get you a lover, but outside of the “dating” spectrum, people still care more about your inner beauty than your outer beauty. The most successful individuals in the world don’t get attention for their looks anyways. They get attention for what they do and who they are.

@SW-User Right, outside of the dating spectrum looks don't matter. That's very true. You don't need any physical attractiveness to be someone's friend.
