I Act Older Than My Age

I never fitted in with peers my age. Even my parents agreed saying I didn't belong in this generation of offspring. My grammar, interests and preferences are all out of wack for an average 13 year old. It's hard to relate with other's due to the fact I get titled as an immature brat because of my years on this Earth. I had a childhood and remember it vividly, which is strange since most who act older usually were forced to grow up swiftly.

I would imagine so, since you're still a child. Sorry to break it to you, but there's a lot of kids your age who want to be titled an adult without any of the responsibilities it would bring. You shouldn't sit around soaking up the patronizing remarks left by your family.

Live your youth, quit trying to fit shoes that aren't big enough for you yet. Being mature is fine, but don't let it consume you. You're still a teenager. Keep that in mind when it comes to making friends. Trust me, as I've mentioned above, there's a bunch of other kids your age claiming to be just as mature as you are.

Before you get your pants in a bunch, realize that I'm typing this to you the way I would to anyone else regardless of how old they are: with honesty. If you truly are mature for your age, you'll be able to see that.
