I must get me hence

All i'd talk about is the theatre, it's taken on monstrous proportions, and so this can be just one more chance to talk about it, before doing the right thing, and drown in the material before becoming a merman in the ocean of works.

Last spending splurge wasn't all plays, it's part of the scope to include those nearest in spirit and then work out like a balloon being blown up. The 2 poetic works i'm most pleased about having now are Italian -- Petrarch and Leopardi, both in what appears to be the best english translations. There was a history book i read a little from long ago, where it talked of Petrarch as the first humanist/modern, he hailed from the 1300's, and he climbed a mountain and looked down at the town below, something about that was different from all other experiences put forth to paper. And Leopardi i recall in Fellini's Amarcord a character explains to a woman with a large bosom that Leopardi is just a little ways down in quality from Dante's dizzying artistic height.

I'd like to come back here with 100 plays under my belt, and some performances of them seen. My phases usually don't last long, but i'd be happy oh so happy if this could be the main phase for the rest of my time alive. As this phase's structure encompasses after all is said and done all that is deemed fine literature.
i like how you said "becoming a merman in the ocean of works"
