how should you react if you think people are against you or ostracizing you

i'm not looking for sympathy, just how to react......... for a long time i have felt that people in general are giving me special ''treatment''....like there's often times when i'm in public places and i see a lot of people looking at me....at times when i walk in the supermarket carpark....cars park near me and people get out of their cars just as i walk past?

at the supermarket checkout earlier on, the chinese cashier man was nice to the man in front of me being served...but he was abrupt and unfriendly when he served me.......i reacted by being stern and unfriendly back, but i took that personal.

and indeed i have a loong history of having friction with other people....my mum tells me it's my attitude and paranoia that plays a part, she says i go out there with an unapproachable demeanor, and get irritated and offended at the slightest thing people do or say....so i invite these attitudes from other people..

but i do not know, i think, people have got it in for me........but i will not change or jump through hoops to be accepted.

what should i do?
By not reacting.
Being stern will do you no favors. Pretending to be nice will make you look like a liar.
