asking people what they do for a living isn't a very nice question usually
I remember in my early 20s I hated this question because I wasn't super excited about working as a dishwasher at a middle eastern restaurant.
Only around 29 and onwards I finally liked to answer this question or was neutral about it.
I think this is true for a lot of people.
So now when people ask me this question I feel like it is a bit rude even though I am quite proud of what I do. It just sort of reflects lack of tact I think. And that is saying a lot coming from me who is an introvert autistic asocial retard.
