From your knowledge/experience, is it normal for someone to become a hermit due to not liking mass 3rd World immigration to the West?

I'm not in the West but it doesn't sound like something common from what I heard. Wouldn't it help if they moved out of the big cities to small towns and the countryside if it's something that bothers them?
