Oh my god I once went on a date and the girl said something about being avoidant and I was like yeah okay whatever. We spent a weekend at her place and arranged for her to visit me as well, while my parents were out of town (hence I told them and all that). Then she didn't show up, and when I asked her where she was, she started talking about her personality disorder. In the end she said: "I just thought you'd understand..." Like what lol. Why would I understand that? It felt more like it was always her plan to flake on me, because she was more interested in this whole disorder thing than she was in me. 😅

The relationship that ultimately ended in devastation, she is a dismissive avoidant personality
