Do you know anyone who had emotional and anger issues, but resolved them and changed their personality?

Me. I entered "fight mode" in a cptsd flashback and it made me fight for my life against my partner as if he was going to kill me. So I tore a table upside down I threw things I kicked him as soon as he tried coming near me. And it happened within seconds either him or me had any warning before I just bursted out on anger outlash.

We had to figure out both the warning signs to prevent it, and how to help deescalate the situation once the heat was on.

Once I started therapy I could finally get some serious advice and insights into this. Why it happens. What can prevent it and how.

2 solid years of hard work and now it's history with these out-lashes. Within CPTSD there's something called "window of tolerance" and the bigger window the bigger tolerance, my window is now three times the size it was.

If I get angry I know why and I can ground myself and differ from what's flashbacks and what's reality. I'm in no way cured but I'm honestly amazed how much better I got.

@Queendragonfly That's amazing. Just want to know did anyone suggested you for therapy or you yourself thought to get it?
