@revenant Yes. Along with refrigerators, air conditioners and aerosols. The gases they used were simply switched. What makes you think apparently not? This treaty was made back in 1989

@revenant No my fridge alone but millions. The evidence was conclusive and accepted by all the industries and nations involved. It is a fact. They expect the ozone to be fully restored by 2040. The money was not in switching and was resisted by the industries involved initially. It costed everyone but it was the right thing to do
