The wall of negativity

She needed help so I gave her a call. We quite simply live in different worlds. I can point out the bright side, build her up, reframe, reassure, listen, and validate, but I cannot tear down that wall. Whatever we’re looking for, we will find in some form or other. She thinks I’m blind and not very bright. I don’t know if she’s wrong, but I know that wall makes me awfully sad. Needs more windows. 😔

There are those going through tough times who we would love to help. All we can do is be there for them when they lift the shades on their windows a bit.

That and perhaps say a prayer or two.

I have a friend going through terrible times, and not handling it well at all.
I pray they survive so someone can help them put the pieces back together again.
