Is there anything that you feel is true, but your brain knows better?

I know it’s not true, but I’ve always felt deep down women are better than men. Ever since I can remember. Logically I know that’s bs.. we’re all equal! but I’ve always had an internal fight in the back of my mind and sometimes I need to remind myself that I know better. I really don’t know where it originated. Maybe it’s because I’m a guy with self esteem issues and I naturally feel inferior so it could be a consequence of that. I try not to let it affect me, but sometimes it shows… I sometimes put more stock/value into things women say. And I’m generally more comfortable working/talking with women, though ironically that comfort didn’t translate into dating when I was young 😂
