What drives people to set up catfish accounts?

I feel there has been a significant rise in catfishing. Wondering why people would do such a thing.

Because they act like asses and get blocked and refuse to accept that someone else can have the final act with them. Problem is with VIP and some common sense and you can see them looking at your profile.
