Also, you should look at the similarities between magic and science. Magic is just older.
I consider, as well as others, that Alchemy, is a shift between magic and science.
Medicine: Many life saving medicine began with plants, the medicine people the indigenous tribes, worked with these plants in their own way. Modern Medicine derived the medicine from the plants to put into a pill or liquid. The Aboriginal peoples even knew that certain medicines had to be introduced into the body intravenously, they used sharp objects to accomplish this.
Did you not learn about medicine and the evolution of it?
Astronomy: They looked at space and saw more than lights, the conscience and imagination leading up to where we are today.
You can not deny that it was the curiosity and imagination of early man that allowed for the evolution of Astronomy.
Or do you think we just woke up one day and science existed?
Music: Magic believes that music, song and dance, leads to a change in attitude scientists (finally) tested how music changes attitudes. and rhyming is a way to memorization.
I don't understand how you, as educated as you say you are, cannot see the bigger picture. It's ALL connected.

I never said I was psychic. I agree more with science than I do new age crap or religion. Maybe, we are insignificant but why live a life of anger, fear, hatred, and negativity? If we are' just a tiny bit of carbon' why should we be angry all the time? the animated man was very angry. He couldn't hold a conversation with 'Storm' at all. BTW, Not all of us are like 'Storm', he was pretentious and closed minded. But, even he agreed with the evolution of medicine.
Magic has been around longer than science. Because of Magic, We have science today.
@WalksWith My adage is: If it’s not science, it’s superstition. Ask me what is what is the greatest invention of humanity, I’d vote for something that doesn’t physically exist. The Scientific Method. It’s an idea of methodology that works for everyone. No belief requirements.

@WalksWith Pseudoscience attracts more people than truth. Those that post in astrology ban me the most. A subject such as evolution doesn’t belong here because it’s a true science, not a belief.
What constitutes success in SW? I choose to post things that are interesting and throw in humor sometimes. But I strive back my claims with documentation. Emperors with no clothes need to be exposed.
