Question for the witches here

When making a charm, can I substitute faux flowers/foliage in place of real?

It's the intention that counts so could I just use artificial flora, it still represents the actual plant right? I live in Phoenix AZ and I don't think I can find pine branches anywhere remotely near me. 😩

Technically, its the essence of the actual flora you're employing. That said, though, I'm a believe that many of the items used in witchcraft are symbolic and best used to focus intention. There's no such thing as a "magic" wand and crystals are perfectly inert matter.

I think witchcraft is very much a practice if harmonizing with the frequencies of the Universe to effect positive change. If you can do that, you're doing things right. If you do want to look into supplies that might be hard to find in your area, Etsy is a good resource. Also https://oldworldwitchcraft.com offers quality supplies and information on Old World witchcraft, which is very close to a hedge witch.
