Gloomy · F
Still healthier and more creative than anything christianity or other monotheistic religions have to offer

@Gloomy not gonna argue that...

@Gloomy I'd argue that last line is a little over the top. Giving thanks for food is something a lot of non-religious people do too....
@Gloomy Animal sacrifices???
originnone · 61-69, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic I didn't get that one tbh....they did animal sacrifices in the OT....They were always killing a lamb or a bird or something. We do give thanks over meals....
@originnone Maybe when eating meat? Or a clever joke about Jesus as lamb?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic I don't know. You ever say grace over a meal of beef, chicken, pork, etc.?
@LordShadowfire You bet!

@Chickie It's only kind of demonic though. It's roots are actually in reference to the next day (All Saints Day) - with halloween being all hallows eve, or the day all the gouls and stuff can hang out...
Chickie · F
@originnone yeah, I know, I don't really think Halloween is demonic.

@Chickie It makes for good movies though.....

@originnone
halloween being all hallows eve,
The Pagan festival is Samhain.
