Just being descended from people who practiced Vodou, probably. They had to do it in relative secrecy. I don’t even practice it myself, but on break at work once, I was discussing the similarities between rituals I’d observed with a Wiccan’s and one of our "Christian" co-workers accused us of being "devil-worshippers". 🙄

@OhIsMe I admit, I didn’t help things when I told the woman, "if you’re that afraid of us putting a [b]hex[/b] on you, why aren’t you [b]nicer[/b] to us ?" 😅
