Is the Universe ruled by a great consciousness ?

I sorta assume we're the consciousness of the Universe, it's own little way if understanding itself. I forget who that's attributed to. Alan Watts maybe. 🤷

@coven Oh very possibly! Good point. I don't wanna assume that we're the only self awareness in existence.

@coven We was a British author and scholar of Buddhism and Eastern thought. He popularized a lot of Eastern thought, in particular Zen Buddhism, to a Western audience in the West in the 60s and 70s. His most famous book is probably [i]The Way of Zen[/i]. I highly recommend it!

He also recorded many of his lectures and those are available on podcasts.
