We have no idea about the vastness of space. The universe is said to be expanding but into what? We cannot fathom the infinite. My pea brain cannot fathom the nothingness the big bang supposedly began with.

@Gibbon that's the problem with big bang theory (or big dud theory as I call it) that can't be rectified. any explosion/expansion requires space to expand in to, and the passage of time to occur to begin with, so obliviously; space, time, and matter just didn't blink into existence at the same time... i.e. it would require some external force acting on it (heat/friction, gravity, collision, etc.)
and I seriously doubt there's some black impermeable wall/shell out there where existence ends...
