The Math would be interesting to work out...!

Kelvin is a measurement of temperature, absolute zero. Not even sub atomic particles move at absolute zero(Kelvin). Any temperature above absolute zero would generate heat due to the movement within a molecule.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@GerOttman Everything we understand is at our current level of understanding.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@Nitedoc You figured that out all on your own, didn't you? Impressive... Did you know that water is wet??? (shhhh...)
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@GerOttman It's wet in our current level of understanding!
Repete · 61-69, M
Not sure about a different universe but cold ( as we call it) can definitely be eliminated.

All you have to do is move, pack up and catch the next ship heading for the sun, you may want to pack plenty of sun block . 🙃
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@Repete I'll just go at night. Problem solved!
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
Anticold is just cold, yet mirror-reversed and moving backwards in time.
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@GerOttman

I just recall that description of what antimatter is.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@JoyfulSilence that's kind of what I was thinking. In an anti-matter universe moving backward in time anti-cold just makes sense!
JoyfulSilence · 46-50, M
@GerOttman

I could use some anti-cold. Or anti-winter.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Bill gates knows that answer
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@MarineBob well ask him next time you see him and get back to me!

but, if cold is just the absence of heat, then it would be an anti-absence-of-heat.

a universe where heat is the absence of cold.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@SW-User an absolute heat and no limit on cold, interesting!
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
absolute cold/absolute zero is simply the absence of any energy

like the space between biden's ears... 🤔
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I'm not sure I see the difference between anti-cold and heat.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@DrWatson Absolute 0 on the Kelvin scale defines the maximum known limit of cold. All molecular, perhaps even atomic motion stops. Mathematically, negative numbers on this scale could be computed. Could an alternative universe exist in which these are real numbers and what properties would materials have in that universe?

But, Entropy...⚛️🧲🏧

GerOttman · 61-69, M
@SW-User I was going to cover anti-entropy in a separate post!
pdockal · 56-60, M
Isn't anti cold just warmth ?????
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@pdockal it's more a study of absolutes. Zero Kelvin describes our current understanding of a physical universe. Could there exist a negative Kelvin value in an alternate universe or is it along the lines of being at the North pole and trying to go more North? Could there exist a state where you could go more North in another dimension for that matter?
pdockal · 56-60, M
@GerOttman

Not what you asked originally
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@pdockal it was kinda conceptual and open ended sort of thing. you know like when it says, "this page intentionally left blank" I mean, why not just put some artwork or a quiz in that space instead of wasting it? but I guess that's going to have to wait for a different post!
DDonde · 31-35, M
Would anti-cold just be heat?
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@DDonde Imagine it mathematically, much like calculations for time the sign does not affect the equation even though there is no observed occurrence in our universe.
