I saw it because our outdoor learning class (it's gardening and learning about birds and basically the outdoors in general!) were doing a project on solar eclipses, and we all payed to get eclipse glasses but on Friday we were told that we were donated more glasses and that we now had 35 pairs because parents had been calling in to say that they want their kids out of class to be able to see it, so we then had over 100 kids going to see it and we had to share the glasses that we payed for, and the others didn't. I couldn't even see through them, so, to be totally honest, I think that it may have been a waste of time and money, especially in South West Scotland where it is always cloudy!

Its a shame about the cloud cover...
We had terrible weather in Essex....so we never saw it either.....
There was lots of coverage on sky news....and pics on the net....
The next one is in 11 years....
Lets hope the weather is better then..!!!
