I Adore The Feeling Of The Sun Warming My Skin
Sunbreaks...
Today was a real mixed bag of Oregon weather. It never got into the 60's but every once-in-awhile these terrific sunbreaks would come through. When a good break in the clouds came through around 2 PM I decided to venture outside and let all my skin soak up some rays. It was well worth it, and it lasted long enough to warm up my whole body. The outside temperature didn't matter so long as I was within the sunbreak. As I lay there and reached the point that I felt permeated by the light and warmth, suddenly everything would go dark and the wind would stir up and cool me all off. A few minutes later I was getting chilled and thinking about something to cover up with, but I could see the clouds rapidly moving high above, and another little sunbreak coming my way. This cycle continued for at least 4 times and I was rapidly warmed, then chilled while I kept a keen lookout for the next one. Finally there was nothing but gloomy gray above me and increasing winds so I had to go in. However, tonight I am still basking in the warm glow of the sun as my skin continues to tingle. Since it was so chilly outside, I suspect I got way more than usual today. What a nice reminder of my time outside!
