The crescent moon with Venus so close in the night sky

My phone is not great with moon pics, but this was such a cool sight, I don't remember seeing them so close before, appearing just 1 degree apart. Almost looks like 2 moons in the sky.

I don't remember ever seeing a planet look so clear before (then again, I never know when or where to look either)
