I like how

I am capable of seeing a full moon in any phase. Not sure if it's purpose is to make it seem like there are multiple moons.
I look up at the sky and see the illuminated part of the moon, as well as the darkened part. The darkened part kind of looks like a shadow.
One thing I don't understand is why a full moon is evenly illuminated to its very edge because that's not how shining light on a sphere works. If you shine light on a ball, the light will always be less intense on the edge than in the middle. It's almost like a full moon is its own light source. But when the moon is partially lit, the side with light on it is always the side facing the sun even if the sun isn't visible.

Do you believe what NASA says is the truth?

@GoToTheCompound I don't follow anything of NASA. I'm hardly even interested in space. I just find the beauty in the moon, the stars, and the planets that appear closer to Earth now and then.
@Xalvadora The sky is beautiful and so mysterious. It's crazy how when you really zoom in on stars they look like they're under water. And how the moon always rises from the same area of the sky that the sun rises from, and how the moon and sun are the same exact size.. and how all of the continents of our known world perfectly fit into half of the dark shapes on the face of the moon. There's something called a plasma moon map that suggests the moon is a projection of earth. The dark shapes on the moon face represent land and the white areas represent water. Who knows if it's true but what are the odds the shapes of our continents can actually fit into the shapes we see on the moon? That's an absolutely insane coincidence. Here's a link to the moon map
