We all live on Earth obviously [I Live On Planet Earth]

But sometimes on here I see posts of what looks like someone who might live in the UK, or elsewhere. I live in the US. My mind (running at a million miles a second) I just can't shut off, so I thought I would ask, do you live in the US or overseas somewhere?

I know for me personally, giving out details is something I won't do, but country wise I figured, it should be okay to ask. If you're uncomfortable about it, no need to answer :) Just being nice and as I said curious about it that's all, nothing bad is meant by the question.
I'm Mexican living in the U.S. I'll go so far as telling the town that I live in, but that's it. No way I'm giving out my name, address or even zip code...lol.
@ozgirl512 Well let's see...my bank account number is 123456789 🤭.

@twiigss Yes, she has no constitutional power but she resides over parliament and opens sessions every year in grand fashion.
She has parliamentary 'red boxes' delivered every day and so knows what's going on.
I live in Australia

@StormInaTeacup Ohhhhh okay. I was on google maps a few months back and I love seeing what places look like, so I went to Australia on street view. What if someone were to move to Australia, just to work at Bunnings? Or is it more than that?
@twiigss Lol it's more than that
twiigss · M
@StormInaTeacup Ohhh. I guess it's very different in the US. You can live here and be homeless and not contribute anything to society/country and no one would care. Or like for me, well I got a job when I was 16 turning 17 still in high school and worked as a dishwasher, and then after school my parents moved to another state, so I moved along with my parents at the time, and I've just been working at different employers.

I did move out, got my own place for 4 years, but due to health issues I moved back home.

@twiigss Thanks... We had 12 to touch down in the last round of storms, one came close but it was yet again, another miss where I live. I have a storm shelter ...just in case!
twiigss · M
@Coletracer Oh my god that's terrible :(

It's good though that you still have a roof over your head. I don't know what I would do if I was ever in a situation where my home is destroyed like that.

The only one thing I really did for myself emergency wise, was a few years ago when I bought a new book bag, I keep my medicine in a tied up shopping bag, and I keep that in the book bag, along with excedrin migraine, fingernail clippers, a pen, little notebook, pepcid ac, basically I pack all my important items in this book bag, and keep it next to my door, so in case something were to happen, I can just grab that book bag that is already packed and run for shelter. Without my medication, my life is in danger. Because it's that medication that keeps me from having seizures. I've had 9 grand-mal seizures in the course of 21 years :(
Coletracer · M
@twiigss Sorry to hear about your medical discomforts, Thank God, I'm healthy. Take care!
