Seen the latest alien news?

First, a brief review of the last few years:

Over the last few years, aliens have been a big topic in surprising places, such as the U.S. military and congress. It started when military pilots reported that they nearly collided with an unidentified flying object during drills. Their report was dismissed by their commanding officer, so in frustration and out of fear for their safety, they leaked video footage taken from the cockpit. This footage was analyzed and revealed to be genuine, so the matter was taken to congress, where it has remained a topic of conversation since.

As it turns out, pilots have been reporting seeing these objects for a very long time, but they often assumed it was secret military tech. It was not until the near-collision that they realized something was amiss. Since then, the U.S. government has released many documents regarding their information on UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) reports. Most of them have been disorganized, vague, and unhelpful. A new program now has the various government organizations working together and sharing information, in an effort to better organize investigations into UAPs.

The Pentagon last year issued a statement that these UAPs are indeed real, but the government officially denies any knowledge of what they are or where they come from. They are considered to be a serious threat to national security, as they may be spy vehicles/drones sent by a hostile foreign nation, though this has not been confirmed. The objects in question are spherical in shape, move very quickly, can turn instantly, do not make noise, and do not leave behind a plume (indicating they do not burn jet fuel). Our current understanding of physics can not account for how these objects are able to do what they do.

In more recent news:

War veteran and high-ranking intelligence official (now retired), David Grusch, has come forward as a whistleblower. He claims that not only has the U.S. government and its allies been aware of the existence of alien life for over 80 years, but have in their possession both partial and fully intact non-human vehicles, as well as deceased pilots, which they have kept hidden from both the public and from congress. Mr. Grusch claims that there is an official retrieval program for these vehicles that he and his team were declined clearance to investigate, leading to his complaint and report to congress. While Mr. Grusch has not provided documents to support his claims, he has claimed that these documents do exist and that he has personally seen them, but was not permitted to keep them for matters of national security. Several intelligence officials have stepped up to vouch for Mr. Grusch and his claims, offering their full cooperation. Congress has declared the investigation "serious and urgent."

Has the drip-feed of alien-related information these past few years been a careful plan to slowly break the news to us? Is Mr. Grusch disillusioned with the government and trying to make a headache for them? Is this a lie devised by the government to distract us from real issues? Are aliens hot and dtf? Expect answers to these questions and more in the coming decade!

There have been hundreds of these sightings and incidents. Just remember that it only takes ONE of these to be genuine.....😷

NASA has recently announced a new study into UAPs. NOT "UFO"

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, which covers both natural (meteorological) and man-made events.

NASA also categorically refutes any "alien" visitors, as there is just no evidence for such, nor any reason to think there is.

Only Grusch can tell us his motives but he's not the first to waffle about the Pentagon hiding "alien" spacecraft while safely unable to present any evidence for their allegation.

Oh, of course the most likely explanation is someone trying to make a quick buck or something along those lines. However, it's not every day a high-ranking and apparently reputable official is the one making those claims, let alone being backed by several other high-ranking and reputable officials. It's normally some nameless nobody. That's the only reason I figured it worthy of note.
Yep, it's definitely interesting. I had a professor who loved to say that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence," so I'm keeping an open mind and awaiting evidence.

I have a vague recollection that Trump, soon after winning, promised to look into the whole area 51 & aliens stuff. That might have caused the release of a few curious videos from fighter jets, but no physical evidence.

@ElwoodBlues I remember that, too. I was waiting to see some real hard evidence after he said that.

No I have not seen the latest "alien news".

Nor has anyone else.

This comes from NASA announcing its plan to investigate Unexplained Aerial Phenomena, which may include but are not limited to, nor automatically, Unexplained Flying Objects that are probably artificial.

The title UAP can include peculiar meteorological events.

NASA has also said it does not believe in "alien" visitors.

I happen to be re watching the Bob Lazar doco, I keep an open mind but his whole demeanor seems genuine

Here's my hypothesis. I think the government is drip feeding us information on UAPs, because they know if they told us the whole truth all at once, many people would freak out. It's also possible that we would experience a cultural collapse.

You see, when a human culture encounters a more advanced culture, be it human or otherwise, it seems to be our instinct to let our previous society collapse and let the more advanced civilization tell us what to do. We become completely dependent on the more advanced civilization. This has been seen over and over again, and is the reason why we are extremely careful in contacting primitive cultures.

If you can imagine how devastating it would be for an entire tribe to experience such a collapse, try imagining if every culture on Earth did the same thing.

@LordShadowfire plus it really puts a wrench in the whole bible story.
@LordShadowfire when they study us, this is probably the look on their faces a majority of the time........
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Carla I know, right? The dominant religion on the planet would just be left with egg on its proverbial face.
@MayorOfCrushtown Yeah, probably.

Ever wondered why you and everyone else are being coerced into removing all the hair on your body ? It’s preparation for the harvest by aliens, obviously a food source is the only reason they’d be interested in planet Earrh and hairless humans will make us easier to process for a food source.
