Seen the latest alien news?
First, a brief review of the last few years:
Over the last few years, aliens have been a big topic in surprising places, such as the U.S. military and congress. It started when military pilots reported that they nearly collided with an unidentified flying object during drills. Their report was dismissed by their commanding officer, so in frustration and out of fear for their safety, they leaked video footage taken from the cockpit. This footage was analyzed and revealed to be genuine, so the matter was taken to congress, where it has remained a topic of conversation since.
As it turns out, pilots have been reporting seeing these objects for a very long time, but they often assumed it was secret military tech. It was not until the near-collision that they realized something was amiss. Since then, the U.S. government has released many documents regarding their information on UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) reports. Most of them have been disorganized, vague, and unhelpful. A new program now has the various government organizations working together and sharing information, in an effort to better organize investigations into UAPs.
The Pentagon last year issued a statement that these UAPs are indeed real, but the government officially denies any knowledge of what they are or where they come from. They are considered to be a serious threat to national security, as they may be spy vehicles/drones sent by a hostile foreign nation, though this has not been confirmed. The objects in question are spherical in shape, move very quickly, can turn instantly, do not make noise, and do not leave behind a plume (indicating they do not burn jet fuel). Our current understanding of physics can not account for how these objects are able to do what they do.
In more recent news:
War veteran and high-ranking intelligence official (now retired), David Grusch, has come forward as a whistleblower. He claims that not only has the U.S. government and its allies been aware of the existence of alien life for over 80 years, but have in their possession both partial and fully intact non-human vehicles, as well as deceased pilots, which they have kept hidden from both the public and from congress. Mr. Grusch claims that there is an official retrieval program for these vehicles that he and his team were declined clearance to investigate, leading to his complaint and report to congress. While Mr. Grusch has not provided documents to support his claims, he has claimed that these documents do exist and that he has personally seen them, but was not permitted to keep them for matters of national security. Several intelligence officials have stepped up to vouch for Mr. Grusch and his claims, offering their full cooperation. Congress has declared the investigation "serious and urgent."
Has the drip-feed of alien-related information these past few years been a careful plan to slowly break the news to us? Is Mr. Grusch disillusioned with the government and trying to make a headache for them? Is this a lie devised by the government to distract us from real issues? Are aliens hot and dtf? Expect answers to these questions and more in the coming decade!
