That show annoys me. If you believed everything they said then humans have achieved NOTHING without the assistance of ETs.
They totally underestimate the ingenuity of man and what we can achieve when many people work towards a common goal.
There are quite simply things and 'technologies' that as a species we've forgotten. One great example is the 'concrete' formula Ancient Romans used for construction. Modern concrete doesn't have anywhere near the durability.

@Whodunnit I have also entertained the idea of being "starseeds" of the ancient romans, Mayans, etc. A higher form of the human race wiped out by the Cro-magnon (Trumps earliest ancestors)
