I Believe In Aliens

I certainly do! In this whole infinite universe we are not the only ones,as religion would have us believe. There is so much we do not know, science and technologies far more advanced than ours and as far as we have come our science is still in its infancy as compared to theirs, but we tend to measure everything by our limited knowledge and refuse to believe or accept the possibility of far more advanced civilizations not of this earth.Yes I believe our earth was visited by beings from other universes, many times over, but it has been kept from our knowledge for several reasons.
Those advanced civilizations would not harm us,they probably are watching our evolution and how long it will take for us humans to bring on the demise of our planet, leaving us to it,having known for a a long time now that we cannot be helped. That we did not follow the same path that brought them to a higher knowledge that opens doors that can only be opened by a spirituality and integrity that has always been lacking within the fabric of the more powerful and leading civilizations on this Earth.

"leaving us to it,having known for a a long time now that we cannot be helped."I think you are right, we cannot be the only ones, it would be too sad. I heard recently two young people talking, one of them was telling that we failed as human race. Sad thing but not totally untrue. I still have the hope that we are changing. I feel that the time for us to take a different path is very close...

And I hope so too,but I am not sanguine about it: too much greed and self serving leaders.

Well, I will keep my spirits up, I have met many good people out there, yes it's true that even within my own blood line there are plenty of very hurt people and very violent people too. But, as a human being, I do not see myself as a complete failure... I have done many stupid sad things that I. genuinely regret, but I know in the bottom of my heart, that there is a lot of good and potential within me, and that no one can ever destroy that or take it away from me. I do not see myself as a failure, and I prefer to believe that by doing my small little part in this world until the day I must depart from this physical body, I will be helping somehow to make this world a better place for whoever comes after me. We don't need to be super celebrities and win Oscars to have impact on a planet, but we need to be true to ourselves and be aware. Dear Berangere, thank you so much for doing your part, through your posts on EP.

Dear TNTandCHOCOLATE, I would not dare to or think of anybody as a failure, sorry if you felt so. I should have continued my comment and tell that I find some truth because most people wanted only to live in peace and love but we always failed to create such system. Some clearly not interested in us being kind and loving to each other. Harmony is not an easy thing we need to aquire it for self first. But. I think these days more and more of us starts to grow out, try to step aside of the robot like life and try to think and feel and act for self, awareness of the uniqueness of every living seems to finally come in light. Those two young people talking, said that there is no hope but I know there is. Look at this thread. How many answers here, each response having its unique beauty. Even the negative one. It made me smile knowing that the passing into adulthood is not an easy task and maybe many of us said or done some terrible thing which maybe we regreted afterwards.

I tell you this, next time you ever hear anyone saying out loud that we have failed as a species on this planet, and that it is too late for change, show those people the photographs on this website:

This was Wraithorn's idea, he recently has posted on his profile links of photographs that show the depths of the human nature.

Enjoy!

Wraithorn, thank you kindly for these, they are a reminder to all of us of whom we really are. Happy new year to you.

Wonderful, deeply moving, totally unforgettable pictures of the endurance of the human spirit. No for the most we have not failed as a specie, but those in power have failed us miserably.
