Social media ban in Australia for children under 16 begins 10 december

What do you people think about it and the impact it will have on children,good,bad,otherwise?
banned from multiple sites,the platforms must block users younger than 16 and remove existing ones.

I have friends with children and grandchildren under 16. Most of them think the same as me. It's a government control thing.

@Unquestioned If private enterprise cannot regulate itself adequately and comply with law and basic safeguarding, government has to step in. It's not a "government control thing", it's what people elect their representatives to do.
