I Love Waterfalls

Other than the water being on the cool side that sounds wonderful.

You'll like my profile picture. This falls is nothing more than a drip most of the year but after a few good rain falls it becomes a breathtaking falls just a little ways from a cool cave and not far above that cave you can see my favorite overlook.

Waterfalls sure are beautiful. And very peaceful and relaxing even to just listen and watch.

I was so hoping for a photo of the falls. Sounds so wonderful.

Oregon has beautiful waterfalls

I've been to Niagara Falls, but to me, the most satisfying waterfalls are the ones you have to hike to.

You paint quite a picture. I love waterfalls. I love water. I love the way it sparkles. the way it sounds, whether it's the gentle ripple of a wave in a lake, calmly splashing up on shore, or a raging waterfall, cascading over the rolling rocks. It moves me.

Where I used to live there was a hotsprings river which ran through a jungle ravine over rocks and boulders, making many rapids and small waterfalls. It felt amazing to get seated under a small falls with the hot water pummelling ones shoulders. With a bit of clambering one could go downstream from where most people would enjoy it to a private world ideal for enjoying it naked and with a lover (or even alone). The boulders in and around some of the little pools beneath small falls were perfect for sitting on and among, and for supporting yourself while the bouyancy of the water did the rest to make lovemaking there one of the most incredible experiences of my life!

Where I lived as a child on Ilkley moor was a meandering waterfall, called Hebers Ghyll. Nothing gigantic but a beautiful walk down from the moors.

I love them as well. We have a place here in Oregon with many in one area, it's called "Silver Falls." I love sitting behind them too!🤗💦

Hikes often result in hidden gems. This sounds like one of them.

aren't those moments awesome? last summer i was on a hike and happened on a waterfall. it was a warm day and i was a couple of miles from the parking lot. since it was a weekday i figured it was safe to strip and go for a swim. the water was cold, but as i stood under the falls, the water felt so pure. i need to plan a return now that temps are warming up.

Our local falls is like that too, except in the winter time when we take showers at home :)
