Kayaking at the close of day.
Hair shoved under a baseball cap. Paddle in hand.
Stepping in as the rays of the lowering sun pierce through the clouds.
The thrilling sound of the kayak thrust back hard into the deepening water.
Feeling the settling of the kayak into the life of the lake. United with my senses and the sights around me.
One with nature where I am happy once again.
