Sun, heat, no work... It's a beach day!!!!

@SwampFlower it's a valid fear 😂 we definitely have sharks, lots of great whites. When I worked for state parks they showed me 😂 there's so many sharks 😬

But I love swimming in the ocean. The movement and salt water. It's so cleansing.

@ScreamingFox My husband loves it too. He used to surf and is always craving a beach trip. I’m super content to just lay in the sun and watch ahaha

Oddly enough tubing in the alligator infested rivers in Florida never bothered me 🤷🏽‍♀

Swamp flower and surfer dude lol surfing is such a connected feeling. What's really scary is the rip currents though.

The ocean can definitely be intimidating.

@ScreamingFox The rip currents are it. I’ve been caught in one before and I’m glad I was drunk and didn’t realize at the time what danger it was. I washed up on the beach a few miles from where I started.

@SwampFlower that's scary woman. Seriously. At least a few tourists die each summer because of rip currents. People just don't know.

@ScreamingFox I should have known better. I was 18 and cocky as hell because I was a river guide. So at least I was a good swimmer but I definitely can’t read the ocean like I can a river lol. At least I knew not to fight it to shore.

If I had been sober I’m pretty sure I would have had shark panic and drowned lol
