Unless someone with a suitable vehicle was too naively kind enough to tow his car out, I expect the recovery fee was quite stiff!

@ArishMell Could be worse. I went to the beach today and arrived just as a tractor was towing an Audi v10 supercar out the sand. I don't know exactly what make it was but it sure looked expensive.

@Thevy29 You'd think someone who can afford a car like that, does so by having the nous to develop a high-flying career (over-?) paying him enough!

Evidently not, at least not when it comes to any practical knowledge and common-sense!
