As he had deliberately driven onto a beach that no-one should use as a car-park, I'd want him pay for professional recovery, cleaning, and for any later repairs resulting from the highly-abrasive sand or corrosive salt.
Apart from not risking my own car, the wait for the recovery and all the costs might make him realise his own stupidity and selfishness.
I'd offer help to a motorist stuck by for example, sliding off a patch of black ice, or bogged when rain turns a rural show car-park field soft. That is a different matter. Though he might have been more careful in icy conditions, both are accidental. Driving onto a seaside-resort beach, is not.
