Northern beaches

Even up north here, we sometimes get a good beach day. It’s not Waikiki but damn it feels nice after a long cold winter.

I hope this summer brings you a little well earned beach time, wherever you can find it.

I like it. It’s about the same as ours, I live on the east coast of USA and the water is cold also.

We have a little time that we can go swimming in the ocean if you don’t mind the cooler temp or on the days that the mudflats warm up when the tide is down , the water is actually warm for a while when it comes in over them. I like swimming in the salt water but I grew up with it.@Lumberjack70

Out of curiosity, is that water like ice cold or does it heat up relatively quickly in the summer?
