When you slap water - why does it hurt you more then it does the water?

Just because we do not speak water does not mean the water molecules are not screaming, "Brace yourselves here comes another fat ass that is going to kill half of us on the surface", right?

And that is when their surviving relatives break out the needles upon impact!
