Ever see a Goblin shark?

Nobody knows how many exist because they've only been seen about 50 times since 1890.

Goblin Sharks live close to the ocean floor at depths of 1000 meters or more. They grow to be 12 feet long. The Goblin Shark has a long, flattened snout with flabby skin. Their fins take on a blue, grey, and pink hue. The shark’s transparent skin and blood vessels give the shark a bizarre pink color when out of water.

Only in pictures and nature documentaries. Although I've been unafraid of smallish sharks, when snorkeling, I'm thinking I'd want to avoid that one.

@Piper Well yeah you would be snorkeling well below you snorkel level at the bottom of the ocean at 1000 meters down or deeper. I think at those depths you would not be alive and called food.

@WillaKissing Yeah, I'm aware that I would not see a Goblin shark when snorkeling. Surely not a live one, anyway.
