Going to Maui. What are some must dos?

We were there last November. Since Lahaina is gone tourism was way down. They were just getting things going again when we were there. I hope you had a nice time.

@jackson55 Out of curiosity, because I've always enjoyed Maui, what was the vibe like there? Were the locals on board with tourists or was it a little edgy? Thanks.

@Ynotisay They were much nicer than 4 years ago on Maui. After COVID and the fires, they really need tourist money.

@Coffeequilt Interesting. Thanks for that. Because I've been reading about housing there and it's a real mess. Landlords found a loophole in the FEMA spending and a lot of people are being displaced so they can jack up rents and get that money. Thought there might be some resentment. Good to know that's not the case.
