March 3, 2025 - The U.S. Senate took a procedural vote on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, legislation to require federally-funded institutions to keep men out of women’s sports, locker rooms, and other spaces designated only for females. The bill did not receive the 60 votes needed to proceed. All 45 Democrats refused to stand up for female athletes and voted to block the bill.

@Lyn4Zoo Such laws should be sex neutral. If men are banned from women's lockers rooms, women should also be banned from men's locker rooms.
