I Am a Naturist

Naturism in Europe.

I was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine before coming to New Zealand with my parents as a child. It seems that in Europe nudism and being nude in public is far more readily accepted than in many other parts of the world. Here in New Zealand and in Australia we generally have great weather in the northern parts which is very condusive for going naked and there are nudist clubs, but not a lot of nude beaches and the nude body is generally frowned upon. As for the Pacific Islands; tropical paradises, it is a real no no. And I think in America it probably is as well.
In certain cities in Germany one can even go naked in certain public parks. Odessa where I was brought up it is often thought of as the naturist centre of the world. Many places, beaches, parks one can go naked and the nude body is not just thought of as natural it is thought of as something beautiful and the health benefits of going naked in the fresh air are realised.
Now don`t get me wrong, I love living in New Zealand, I am blessed and it is a paradise, and I have travelled to Australia and America; all lovely in parts. I just don`t quite understand and think it sad that we don`t share Europes acceptance of the naturally naked body. Perhaps it is because the civilisations are so much older.
