I never liked using the word “pussy” for a vagina

Me neither. In the UK I'd say the c-word is a lot more authentic but has been used with such vulgarity and aggression that it's connotation has became highly negative. I think it's considered a huge obscenity by some.

I really can’t call it that either. Not sure why, but it doesn’t sound right.

I think the problem is that there aren't many pleasant-sounding words for such a beautiful and fascinating part of the anatomy. You'd think somebody might have come up with something better by now!

It's the same with masturbation. What a horrible mouthful of a word. Even 'wank' sounds nasty! And speaking of mouthfuls, 'mastication' is one of the most horrible-sounding words I know of too!

But vagina seems more off
