Hey, i need ideeas for a self spanking

I am relatively new to this whole topic and I would like to try it. Lately I have seen that I have made some mistakes in everyday life and I would like to punish myself but im not sure how. It will be a self spanking but i dont know what position to saty in or what implements should i use, to be honest i dont even know how to use an implement since i never did this before. Any ideeas ?
