The whip was worse than the belt

My stepdad always used the belt for spanking. Generally about 20 bare arse lashes.
More. If I couldn't stay still. We got to 60 on one occasion. . Excruciating pain.
Burning and stinging. But generally over and forgotten about fairly soon.
My mother on the other hand. Being a horse lover. Had quite a selection of whips.
Long ones, short one, fat ones and thin.
My sister or I. Would be sent to the stables to choose one or two to bring in.
A very difficult decision to make. Because they all really hurt, in their own way.
We also knew. These whippings would last quite sometime. Much longer than dad's.
It wasn't just the arse. But the thighs as well. Often more than 100 lashes.
Would leave us in unbelievable agony for days.
On a few occasions. When it was felt. That I had wronged my sister. She was allowed to do some of the lashes herself.
My sister and mum generally sided together. That doesn't mean my sister didn't get the odd savage beating too.
