I Was Often Spanked With Moms Hairbrush

I remember my mother's wooden hairbrush with great respect. She used it whenever my sister or I deserved a spanking and she used it with great expertice and vigour so every spanking was experienced as a dreadfully painful lesson. But the spankings not only were painful but also memorable and truly educational. Mother and her hairbrush with admirable effeciency weeded out bad habits and ingrained good habits so that even today it for instance is almost impossible for me to cuss.
It was never a joking matter to get a spanking with the hairbrush and the bottom was sore for a long time after but I am truly grateful for every lesson the hairbrush helped my mother to teach me.

How big was your mum's purse? I don't know anybody with a purse big enough to fit a hairbrush inside it. My mum often spanked me with her hairbrush but not in public, she waited until we got home.
