I couldn't agree more that leaving panties up is counterproductive in most cases. Unless the girl being spanked would be truly humiliated by being seen bare, her panties should come down. Apply the lesson directly to where it will do the most good.

I meant that some girls are more comfortable with being seen bare than others. It's never completely easy, but for some girls it isn't as bad as the sting in their bottoms. They are more concerned with being spanked than seen.

Good point. I was one of the shy girls. Raised to be very modest - until it came to my spankings, when having my panties pulled down was deemed part of my punishment. And the shame I felt at having my private parts displayed still makes me blush to this day.

@Rachely3 They blushed, but they cooperated. When they started puberty they resisted being bared, but not too strongly. They knew that too much resistance would only make their spankings worse.

@Rachely3 OMG Rachel, you are so right. That would not be a good time to start trying to be clever by holding on grimly to your panties - much as I’m sure your instinct was to do just that. In my own case, my mother instructed me to take them down myself. I know I always hesitated for a few moments because as a teen it was just so difficult to do, even though there was only Mum in the room. She would then simply give my panties that certain stare and would make a downwards pointing gesture with her finger. It would have been foolish in the extreme to test her patience any longer at that point. Sometimes you just have to accept defeat. I’d swallow my pride and pull them down to my knees.
