I talked to am Amish girl a few years ago who was 18 or 19. She was out on that period they are allowed to experience the real world for a time before going back. She said spankings for older girls were in the barn bent over a rail skirt up with a razor strap across their panties by their fathers. They were not bare it was considered not decent. She did not mention school spankings.

@EllaDisenchanted Oh OK - interesting. Well I didn't mention she said that was for severe discipline, for something the girl did that was very big.

@Phoebe1990 Every family is different and each district has some differences on acceptable and not acceptable with some things.

Just it's rare to find girls disciplined by fathers simply because of modesty issues and a man hitting a woman is a huge taboo.
