I Was Spanked With A Wooden Spoon

Bare bottom but it was a wooden spatula. That hurt worse. I remember mom rummaging around in the drawer telling us it was time for the stick. Then yanked down our pants, over the knee and spanked a good 5-10 minute. The burn after was horrible.

Yes! I hated that moment when Mom reached for the utensil drawer in the kitchen as she was delivering a scolding tirade. Then I knew that I was getting the spoon instead of her hand, and her hand was bad enough! The spoon was way worse! We didn't get spanked as long as you did, but it was still an awful burning sting!
