If you were asked to rate your libido out of 10, where would it linger in your general day to day life?

Libido never really changes
Libido fluctuates often
Libido seems to change in waves (like weekly, monthly, yearly)
Libido changes are linked to feelings for/about others and relationships I'm in
Specifically for women - Libido changes seem to link direct to menstrual cycle
Libido - what's that?
Specfically for those in a couple - Libido changes follow my partner's

Does it ever 'spike' higher (or 'reverse spike' lower)? Does it ever get to zero (and maybe stay there for a long time)? Does it ever get to 10? 8-)

I would rate mine at 1 or 2 in general day to day life, often falling to zero (or seeming like it's below zero) and flatlining there almost perpetually for weeks at a time.

When I was in relationships it would have spikes to the mid-range, but I would never say it's ever gone above about 6 ever in my adult life (close on 40 yrs) when I have actually had those vanishingly-rare very memorable positive sexual experiences.

I had some very rare experiences (none in recent years) where it spiked very briefly into the high range but those experiences were marred by non-positive feelings and actions (inc. from others) later that degraded the pair bonding linkage at the time.

A new lover increases frequency of lovemaking drastically. But even with a lover I have been with a long time......its still daily......if she is up for it.

If you feel your libido lingers at the high end all the time, or peaks there, how do you actually 'measure' it? What reference or standardised metric are you using to determine you are on 'high libido' much/all of the time, or reach it during intimate activity?

Do women in their so-called 'hoe phase(s)' and/or during parts of their menstrual cycles and/or during pregnancy have heightened libido above what they feel is 'normal' for them? What makes men's libido change/fluctuate? I've never had high sex drive, so I know mine is low to very low almost all the time.

I'm going to suggest it's almost totally subjective and it's very difficult to actually be objective unless you can observe behaviour patterns around sexual activity and compare them to people you are close to.
