Do you think it's wrong to like sex?

Nothing wrong with liking sex.

I do think people don't take sex seriously enough. By that I mean they disregard the possibility of pregnancy, they have sex with someone they don't expect to have feelings for but then develop them later...I think sex is best with someone you care about. I've only been with one person since I was 18 and I wouldn't want it any different.

Sex does not have to be a vice. But it's inherently complicated because it can never just be about you and what you want--it involves another person and that requires additional levels of understanding and sympathy.

Nope. But I admit I listed it as a vice because I was a sex addict and had issues controlling it for a period of my life and also have a fairly high number of paraphilias. 🤷🏾 I joke about it a lot

Not ashamed of it. It happens. But in general sex is normal, healthy and pretty damn fun.

Nah. It’s kind of a must in continuing a species. And vital in feeling more intimately connected to someone you rather enjoy.

When it starts consuming you though…to where it’s a struggle to function in everyday life without the thought or allure of it overwhelming you, that’s when the red flag could present itself. That’s when it starts to become too strong of a beast to tame for some.

oops the poll is missing. I am in the no category. I would offer up that a lot of people in the yes or maybe category are Christians or Muslims. It is baked into much of their religious demonination that sex for pleasure is morally worng. I would be fascinated by folks into those two religions who say no, it how ok, how they reconcile their religion with sex for pleasure.

I bet you are super productive being asexual-ish. If I had a nickle of how much time I spent on the hedonism that is sexual pleasure--man I would I have probalby accomplished some things in life.

The abuse of sex might be considered a vice (as with every other natural appetite) but to be a sexual being is the way we are created. "Just go for it" is not really the advice of the Bible, but if that is not a consideration, then I guess the boundaries are for the individual to determine.
