afterglow is what exactly? Is it different for a man compared to a woman ?

I'm presuming it is because a female orgasm is pleasure 100 percent which is different to male orgasm, and if you haven't been able to get to orgasm do you feel 'let down' or 'lacking fulfilment' at all?

It depends on how physically demanding the sex is. Any perceived pain will release endorphins. Everyone gets a nice jolt of these when you have an orgasm. The bigger (or the # of) orgasms just keeps hitting the bell. It can be a true high.

The afterglow is all this wearing off after, along with coming down from the physical activity. Like the end of a good workout. It can last 10-15 minutes.
